Snaggle Tooth No More!!

I have been meaning to post about the status of Brandon and losing his teeth. He lost his first top tooth a while ago and has been working on getting the second top tooth out for quite some time now. And let me tell you, he did take his time with this one. He has been referred to as "Snaggle-tooth" because the tooth was so loose and was in the center of where his top teeth would be. He would flick it with his tongue and turn it all around, but that tooth was still hanging on.

On his first day back to school after Christmas break, low and behold that tooth came out. He was walking to PE and flicked the tooth with his tongue and got it turned completely around. When he went to get it back the right way it came out in his fingers. Off to the nurse he went. She gave him a little tooth container to keep it safe and take home.

When he got off the bus that afternoon, I noticed right away that my "Snaggle-tooth" had become the "Toothless Wonder!" I took a picture and sent it to my family as they have been waiting to hear when the tooth comes out. I laughed so hard when Mike responded, "Is that a walrus?" Yeah, he did kind of look like one.

Well, the tooth fairy didn't visit that night because Brandon couldn't part with that tooth. It is still in the special tooth container and tucked into a drawer in his room. One of these days he will find out that I have kept all of those baby teeth in a special basket and he could have had the tooth fairy visit. We will keep that a secret for now though! Shhhh!

Brrrrrr!!!!!!

Baby it's cold outside! We haven't been up to much lately and I haven't felt like blogging about anything in particular. We have had freezing temps and some snow lately causing a snow day recently. After much begging, I did give in to the kids and we all went out for a little playing in the snow. It took longer to get bundled up then the actual time we were outside, but they enjoyed it.
So, not much new to report from here. We have a few things coming up so then I will have more to blog about. Until then, we will just try and stay warm and dream of warmer temps.
